Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

Marie Curie Cancer Care

Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal cancer and other illnesses. Over the financial year 2010/11, we reached a total of 31,799 patients

Youth Health Talk

Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

In our team we strive to provide an extensive skill mix and patient choice of clinician, when available. We also have staff who are able to speak Urdu, Bengali and Punjabi to help our patients for whom English is not their first language. We are also able to provide interpreter services via a phone link. All of our admin team are also trained in CPR are trained and able to be called assist the clinical staff with the most appropriate gender chaperone.

Nurse Practitioners

Mrs Amanda Beaumont (f)

We're delighted to have Amanda join our team in December 2018. Amanda is a very experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner working at the surgery on Mondays and Thursdays. She can prescribe and refer as needed.


Mrs Susan Baldwin (f)

Susan is a very experienced Nurse working with us on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is new to the team as of June 2018 and keen to get to know our patients and provide support for our patients with long-term conditions.

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Helen Ecclesby (f)

Helen is our part time Health Care Assistant. She is able to do various diagnostic checks, take blood samples, syringe ears, give adult injections and provide health promotion advice and information. She has been with the practice since 2007 and handles our stock checks, home visits for older people's health checks and flu vaccinations.
