Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

Marie Curie Cancer Care

Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal cancer and other illnesses. Over the financial year 2010/11, we reached a total of 31,799 patients

Youth Health Talk

Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

In our team we strive to provide an extensive skill mix and patient choice of clinician, when available. We also have staff who are able to speak Urdu, Bengali and Punjabi to help our patients for whom English is not their first language. We are also able to provide interpreter services via a phone link. All of our admin team are also trained in CPR are trained and able to be called assist the clinical staff with the most appropriate gender chaperone.

Mr Scott Hutchinson (m)

We are happy to have Scott complementing our team as a an experienced clinician who works with us on a Monday. Scott is currently working on a locum basis for the surgery. 

Mrs Samantha Mellor (f)

Samantha is working for us on a locum basis as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner on Thursdays.


Mrs Mary Saxton (f)

Mary is a very experienced Nurse working for us on Mondays and Thursdays.

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Helen Ecclesby (f)

Helen is our part time Health Care Assistant. She is able to do various diagnostic checks, take blood samples, syringe ears, give adult injections and provide health promotion advice and information. She has been with the practice since 2007 and handles our stock checks, home visits for older people's health checks and flu vaccinations.
